Veterans TRT AMA on Reddit: October 24 and 25, 2026

AlphaMD is hosting a Veterans-focused testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Ask Me Anything on Reddit on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026. Licensed medical providers will answer general questions from 2:00 to 7:00 PM ET each day. Veterans and active-duty service members are the focus, and anyone with a question about TRT is welcome.

The event will run in r/TRT and r/Testosterone. You can ask a question during either live window or follow the discussion as providers respond.

AMA details

  • Dates: Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026
  • Time: 2:00 to 7:00 PM ET each day
  • Where: r/TRT and r/Testosterone
  • Who can participate: Veterans first, everyone welcome
  • Format: General TRT questions answered by licensed medical providers

What can you ask about?

Bring the practical questions that are hard to answer in a short appointment or a search result. Topics may include:

  • What a clinician reviews before considering TRT
  • Lab testing and why timing and context matter
  • Side effects or symptoms to discuss with a clinician
  • Fertility, sperm production, and family planning
  • Monitoring after treatment begins
  • Questions veterans face when comparing VA, Tricare, and private care

Providers can also address general questions about peptides and supplements when they connect to TRT, but testosterone care is the main focus of the event.

Who will answer the questions?

Licensed medical providers will answer questions throughout both live windows. Their responses will explain general clinical concepts and common considerations. Reddit does not provide enough information for a clinician to evaluate your full medical history or give individualized medical advice.

A licensed clinician must review your symptoms, health history, lab results, goals, and risks before deciding whether TRT is appropriate for you.

How to participate

  1. Visit r/TRT or r/Testosterone.
  2. Look for the AlphaMD Veterans TRT AMA post.
  3. Add your question without including private medical or identifying information.
  4. Return during the live window to read the provider responses and follow-up discussion.

The direct AMA post links will be added to this page once the threads are live.

Protect your privacy on Reddit

Reddit is public. Do not post your full name, date of birth, contact information, home address, patient account details, or lab reports that contain identifying information. You can ask a useful general question without sharing those details.

AMA responses are educational. They do not establish a patient-clinician relationship and cannot provide a diagnosis, prescription, or personal treatment plan. Contact a clinician who can review your medical history for advice about your health. Do not use Reddit for an urgent medical concern.

Resources for veterans and active-duty service members

AlphaMD maintains a standing program for eligible veterans and active-duty service members. The veteran and military TRT resource explains the current program and verification steps.
