How do I come off TRT to try for a family?

Back to Medications & treatment

Short answer

Message us. A licensed provider will set up a plan that adds HCG while your TRT dose comes down, then moves you to enclomiphene until conception.

Send us a message through your portal or email contact@alphamd.net. Tell us you're planning to try for a family, and a licensed provider will set up a plan to help your body restart its own testosterone and sperm production.

How the plan works

  1. HCG is added while you're still on TRT, and your TRT dose is gradually lowered over about 10 weeks.
  2. HCG and TRT then stop together, and you start enclomiphene, a daily oral medication.
  3. You stay on a low dose of enclomiphene until conception.

Your provider will give you the exact doses and schedule. For HCG pricing, see How much does HCG cost?
